문화인류학과 - Cultural Anthropology

덕성여자대학교 응용인류학 석사과정은 인류학의 에스노그라피(ethnography) 연구방법과 응용인류학 이론에 기초하여 비즈니스와 소비자 연구, 의료와 보건, 개발과 도시문제, 문화기획, 성평등(여성) 등의 분야에서 실천적으로 활동하고 해당 분야에 적합한 직무 능력을 갖출 수 있는 전문가를 양성하고자 한다. 이론적, 방법론적 훈련을 통해 학술적 능력과 진로를 개발하고 인류학적 지식을 기업, 공공부문을 포함하는 다양한 사회 영역에서 응용하고 적용할 수 있는 현장 중심의 교육과정을 운영한다. 이를 통해 인류학적 전문지식을 현장과 접목하여 커리어를 탐색하고, 직무 분야에서의 경험을 인류학의 이론과 방법론으로 정교화하여 학문적, 실무적 전문성을 높이고 커리어를 발전시킬 수 있도록 한다.

Duksung Women’s University’s Applied Anthropology Master’s program aims to nurture experts who actively perform and have suitable job skills in areas such as business, consumer research, medical and health care, development and urban issues, culture planning, and gender equality (women) based on anthropological ethnographic research method and applied theory. Through theoretical and methodological training, the program offers a site-based curriculum through which students strengthen their abilities and develop advanced career prospects by applying their knowledge in anthropology to various social arenas, including corporations and the public sector. The program enables students to explore career paths by putting an expert-level knowledge of anthropology into practice; improve academic and professional expertise by accumulating experience with theory and methodology in anthropology; and develop their professional opportunities.  



교육목표(The goal of education)

응용인류학에 대한 이론과 전문지식을 교육하고 에스노그라피 연구에 기반한 실행능력을 갖춘 현장형 응용인류학 전문가를 양성한다. 구체적으로는 다음과 같은 전문가 양성을 목표로 한다.

  • 공중보건 인류학 전문가 양성
  • 마케팅 인류학 전문가 양성
  • 도시 및 개발 인류학 전문가 양성
  • 문화기획 전문가 양성
  • 여성주의 정책 및 교육 프로그램 개발 전문가 양성

The program offers theoretical and expert instruction in applied anthropology and nurtures practical experts in applied anthropology who come equipped with a performance capacity based on ethnographic research. The program aims to attract the following experts seeking academic and professional advancement:  

  • experts in public health anthropology
  • experts in marketing anthropology
  • experts in urban and development anthropology
  • culture planning experts
  • experts in women-oriented policy and educational programs development
